Neighbourhood Plan News & Information

Since our last update the Steering Group, together with our Planning Consultants Andrew Towlerton Associates, have been working on the Draft Plan.

We hope to have this available in the next few weeks, at which point we will consult informally with Harrogate Borough Council to ensure that the format and processes which we have followed are satisfactory.

There will then be an opportunity for some further informal consultation with residents and other interested parties before we proceed to the formal 'Regulation 14 Consultation', which is a six week pre-submission consultation period, during which everyone, including bodies such as the AONB, local organisations etc can make representations.

At present we are intending that this will take place in the Autumn, with a view to the whole process being completed and the Plan being in force, by mid 2023.
