GRASS CUTTING IN THE VILLAGE

GRASS CUTTING
Just to keep you up to date:
Cutting of the verges which are the responsibility of Parish Council will begin on Thursday 16 April.
There are three different cutting regimes for these verges. Some areas will be cut regularly (up to 10 times in the season). Some verges, including the Back Lanes, will be strimmed just four times in the year and some areas, where we have placed notices, will be left to grow long to encourage more flowers and insects.
Other areas of grass in Kirkby Malzeard, including the Green, Mowbray Crescent and the Jubilee Garden are the responsibility of Harrogate Borough Council. In the current emergency we do not yet know when these will be cut.
