We need more responses to the Neighbourhood Plan, if we're serious about protecting this community in the future.

DRAFT NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
As you will be aware since 2019 the Parish Council has been working on the preparation of a Neighbourhood Plan. A Steering Group comprising residents and Councillors was formed and consultations were carried out with the public and with stakeholders, prior to the preparation of this Draft document. Details of meetings, the findings of the public consultation questionnaire and other information is available within the archived articles from 2019-2023 on the right hand side of this page. The results of the Public Consultation are available under 'Articles 2021-22'.
Before carrying a formal Consultation with statutory bodies in Spring 2024 we wish to obtain further feedback from the community, so that we are sure that the Policies and Parish Actions within the document reflect your views.
We have therefore published this draft version of the Plan and we hope that during December and January you are able to take the time to read through it and then let us have your comments. There will be a Saturday morning public workshop in the Mechanics Institute on January 20th if you wish to come along and discuss any aspects of the Plan with Steering Group members.
The Plan is available in individual sections below by clicking on the links provided. There is also a summary version of the Plan and a link to an online Jotform questionnaire for you to complete and submit. If you would find it easier to look at a printed version of the Plan or complete a written copy of the questionnaire these are available in the Coffee Room of the Mechanics.
